The problem

The Manual Way is Painful

If you sell on Amazon, you're constantly pulling data from product pages. Auditing your own listings. Researching competitors. Building swipe files. Documenting changes for clients.

The default workflow is right-click, copy, paste, repeat. Title goes in one cell. Bullets get pasted one at a time. Image URLs require viewing source or hunting through page elements. Description has weird formatting that breaks when pasted. By the time you've captured one listing properly, you've spent 10 minutes on what should take 10 seconds.

For sellers managing dozens of listings or doing competitive research at scale, this adds up to hours every week of pure manual data entry.

How it works

One Click. Structured Data. Done.

Listing Snapshot extracts everything from an Amazon product page in one click and presents it in a clean modal you can copy from. The data comes out structured and labeled, ready to paste into Google Sheets, Notion, your client's audit doc, or anywhere else.

01

Stays in your browser

You stay in Chrome. The extension reads only the page you're looking at. No data goes anywhere except your clipboard or downloads folder.

02

Structured output

Every field is labeled and grouped. Paste straight into a spreadsheet, an audit doc, or an LLM prompt. No more cleaning up copy-paste artifacts.

03

Six output options

Copy single fields, copy all as text, copy as JSON, or download as TXT, JSON, or CSV. Pick the format that fits the workflow.

04

Open source, in the zip

The full source is in the zip. Read it, audit it, modify it. No build step, no minification, no hidden background scripts, no remote calls.

What gets extracted

Every detail on the page, labeled and grouped.

Three groups of fields. Core data is on by default. Advanced fields stay off until you turn them on, so the output stays clean.

Workflows

How to Use It: Three Common Workflows

Listing Snapshot fits naturally into a few common Amazon seller workflows. Here's how each one works.

  1. 1

    Auditing Your Own Listing

When you suspect a listing isn't performing as well as it could:

    1. Open your product page on Amazon (or the live preview from Seller Central)
    2. Click the orange Listing Snapshot icon in your toolbar
    3. Click "Copy as JSON" or "Download .json"
    4. Open the JSON in any text editor, or paste into ChatGPT or Claude with a prompt like "Audit this listing for keyword density, missing benefits, and unclear differentiators"
    5. Get an instant audit you can act on
  2. 2

    Competitive Research

When you're researching competitor listings to inform your own copy:

    1. Open the competitor's product page on Amazon
    2. Click the Listing Snapshot icon
    3. Click "Download .csv"
    4. Open the CSV in Google Sheets
    5. Repeat for each competitor. Each new download adds a row to your sheet by pasting
    6. End up with a side-by-side comparison of titles, bullets, prices, ratings, and images you can review systematically
  3. 3

    Client Listing Documentation

When you're starting work with a new client and need to capture the current state of every listing before making changes:

    1. Open each ASIN one at a time
    2. Click Listing Snapshot, then "Download .json" with the ASIN-named filename
    3. Save all the JSONs into a "before" folder
    4. After your work is complete, repeat for an "after" folder
    5. Compare to show the client exactly what was changed

Common questions

It works on amazon.com, amazon.ca, amazon.co.uk, and amazon.de. More marketplaces can be added if there's demand.
Yes. By default it extracts the data for the variation currently displayed. You can also toggle on "Variation ASINs" in settings to extract the full list of variation children.
A+ Content text extraction is available but off by default because it adds a lot of text. Turn it on in settings when needed.
The extension extracts the highest available resolution by stripping size qualifiers from Amazon's image URLs. The thumbnails in the modal are the same images, just upscaled.
Yes. Click the Settings button in the modal, or right-click the extension icon and choose Options. Toggle any field on or off.
The extension only reads data from amazon.com pages you're viewing. It doesn't send anything anywhere. Read the privacy details for specifics on what's read, stored, and never transmitted.
It should work on any Chromium-based browser using the same install method, but it has been tested only on Chrome.
