The problem

Seller Central is a Maze

Seller Central has dozens of pages buried in nested menus. Manage Inventory. Inbound Shipments. Brand Analytics. Voice of the Customer. Account Health. Tax Document Library. Each one takes 3 to 5 clicks to reach from wherever you currently are.

If you live in Seller Central all day like most operators, you're spending real time every day just clicking through navigation menus. Some sellers solve this with a folder of bookmarks, 15 to 20 saved URLs they alt-tab to. That works but it's clunky and the bookmark bar takes up screen real estate.

There's a better way: a command palette like the ones used in Slack, Discord, Linear, Notion, GitHub, and VS Code. Press Ctrl+K, type a few letters, hit Enter. Done.

How it works

One Shortcut, Every Page

Quick-Switch adds Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on Mac) as a global shortcut anywhere in Seller Central. The palette includes 30+ common pages organized by category: Inventory, Orders, Advertising, Catalog, Performance, Reports, Help, Settings.

Type "inv" and "Manage All Inventory" highlights. Hit Enter and you're there. Type "case" for the Case Log. Type "promo" for Manage Promotions. Type whatever fragment of the page name you remember and the fuzzy match finds it.

Pages you've used recently bubble to the top. The shortcut is fully customizable. You can edit the page list to add custom destinations or remove ones you don't use.

01

Press your shortcut

Press Ctrl+K (Cmd+K on Mac) anywhere on Seller Central or advertising.amazon.com. The shortcut is fully customizable in the options page.

02

Type any part of the page name

Search matches names, keywords, and category. Fuzzy match handles typos and partial words. Recently used pages bubble to the top.

03

Arrow keys and Enter to navigate

Use the keyboard to select and navigate, or click any result with the mouse. Either works.

04

Cross-domain support

Quick-Switch works on advertising.amazon.com too. Pick a Seller Central destination from the Ad Console and it sends you there correctly.

Power user tips

Power User Tips

Once you've installed Quick-Switch, here are a few tricks to get the most out of it.

  1. 1

    Customize Your Shortcut

The default Ctrl+K is great, but if it conflicts with something else you use, change it. Right-click the extension icon, choose Options, click the shortcut box, and press whatever you want. The options page also lists shortcuts to avoid (like Ctrl+T for new tab, which the browser intercepts before any extension can see it).

  2. 2

Add Your Custom Reports and Tabs

Quick-Switch ships with the most common Seller Central pages, but every operator has their own frequent destinations. Maybe a specific filter view of Manage Inventory, a custom Business Report, or a deep tab in Brand Analytics.

In the options page, click "Add Custom Page", paste the full URL from your address bar (the extension auto-cleans tracking params and converts it to a relative path), and add it to a category. Save and use Ctrl+K to find it instantly.

  3. 3

Smart URL Paste Cleans Tracking Params

When you paste a Seller Central URL into the path field, the extension automatically strips out Amazon's ref=xx_* tracking parameters and converts the URL to a relative path that works across regional Seller Central instances (.com, .ca, .co.uk, .de). What it keeps: functional parameters like ?status=all or ?fulfilledBy=all that actually change what the page shows.

  4. 4

    Recently Used Pages Bubble Up

After you use the palette a few times, your most-used pages appear at the top with a "Recent" badge. So if you live in Manage Inventory and Manage Orders, those will be one keystroke away once Quick-Switch learns your patterns.

  5. 5

    It Works on advertising.amazon.com Too

The Advertising Console lives on a different domain (advertising.amazon.com), but Quick-Switch handles that automatically. Press Ctrl+K from either domain and the palette opens. Pick a Seller Central destination from the Ad Console and it sends you to Seller Central correctly. The cross-domain handling is invisible.
