Seller Central Tab Title Marker ("the extension") is a free Chrome extension developed by Welch Commerce Systems. This privacy policy explains what data the extension accesses, what it stores, and what it does not do.

Data the extension accesses

The extension reads only the active store name from the Seller Central account switcher in the page DOM. It does not read any other page content, inventory data, order data, buyer messages, financial information, or anything else from Seller Central.

The extension modifies only the browser tab title (the document.title property of the page). It makes no other DOM modifications, injects no UI, and changes nothing else about the page.

The extension only runs on Seller Central domains (sellercentral.amazon.com and its supported regional variants). It does not run on any other site.

Data the extension stores

The extension stores the following items locally using Chrome's chrome.storage.sync API:

• The user's custom abbreviation overrides (if any have been set)
• The user's title format preference (if changed from the default)
• The master enable/disable state of the extension

These items are stored under the user's Chrome profile and may sync to the same browser profile on the user's other devices via Chrome's built-in sync, if the user has Chrome sync enabled. Nothing is stored off-device by the extension itself.

Data the extension does not collect or transmit

The extension does not collect, transmit, store off-device (beyond Chrome's own sync of preferences), sell, share, or otherwise process any of the following:

• Personally identifiable information (name, email, address, etc.)
• Authentication credentials, passwords, or security tokens
• Browsing history or web activity
• Page content from Seller Central beyond the active store name
• Inventory data, order data, buyer messages, or financial information
• IP addresses, geolocation, or device identifiers
• Usage analytics or telemetry

The extension does not phone home, does not contact any external server, and does not use any analytics services.

Third parties

The extension does not share any data with third parties because the extension does not collect any data to share. The extension does not include analytics SDKs, advertising networks, or any other third-party code.

Permissions explained

The extension requests the following Chrome permissions:

• storage: used only to save the user's custom abbreviation overrides, title format preference, and enable/disable state via chrome.storage.sync
• host_permissions for sellercentral.amazon.com (and the supported regional Seller Central domains): required so the extension can read the active store name from the account switcher and modify the browser tab title on those pages

Source code transparency

The extension's complete source code is included in the installation package. Users are encouraged to inspect the code to verify the claims in this privacy policy.
